Jason Ware · Albion Financial GroupBullish
Quanta Services is oversold and well placed to supply power and build out the grid.
Ware calls several bottleneck areas in tech oversold, but his selection is driven by quality and a valuation margin of safety. He likes Quanta Services because it helps supply power and build out the grid, which is the infrastructure needed for data centers.
“We like Quanta Services and helping supply the power and build out the grid.”at 40:44

Jim Lebenthal · Cerity PartnersBullish
Quanta is a buy: data center demand exceeds supply, and the selloff is overdone, not a bubble.
Lebenthal bought Quanta and argues that holding it means believing the data center trade continues. Azure revenue growth above 40% and Google Cloud growth above 100% show demand exceeding supply, and power supply is the critical bottleneck. A bubble means building without demand, which he says is not happening. Quanta is not cheap at a mid-twenties multiple, but it is off about 33% from its high.
“What I look at, and I think if you're buying quanta, you have to believe that the data center trade is going to continue, and that frankly, it's not a bubble.”at 14:38
Chris Grisanti · MAI Capital ManagementBullish
Buying Quanta: a high-quality power-niche name that gives downside protection and should win most contracts.
Asked why Quanta, Crisanti says his firm is buying the power names after they fell 10 to 12%. He wants to own the highest-quality companies in the specific power niches, which he argues gives downside protection in volatile times. He expects these companies to get the lion's share of contracts as data center buildout continues, even as anti-data center governors are elected. The power trade is in the second or third inning, as opposed to the late-stage chip trade.
“They're the high quality names in the specific power niches that they're in, Dom. And so we wanna own the highest quality. We think that'll give us downside protection on volatile times, and I think they'll get the lion's share of contracts.”at 44:01

Steve Eisman · The Real Eisman PlaybookBullish
Quanta Services is a major beneficiary of the AI capex story, with record backlog and strong results.
Quanta builds new power plants for utilities, so Eisman sees it as a major beneficiary of AI capex. EPS of $6.06 was up 82%. Revenue of $12B rose 37% organically. Backlog reached a record $64B and the company raised guidance, and the stock rose 5%. Eisman calls it a strong result from a company with a clear link to AI infrastructure build-out.
“It is a major beneficiary of the AI CapEx story. Unsurprisingly its results were very strong.”at 19:00

Stephanie Link · Hightower AdvisorsBullish
Quanta's pullback is unjustified by fundamentals; she sees it as a buy now.
She owns Quanta for the AI infrastructure build-out and its supply chain. It is up 29% year to date, and she has felt the recent pain. She does not think fundamentals justify the pullback and expects great quarters, backlogs, better margins and market share gains, so she calls it a buy now.
“But I don't think the fundamentals justify the pullback. Maybe the momentum is kinda slipping from the group, but I do think, overall, they're gonna have great quarters, great backlogs, better margins, market share gains across all three of these names that I just mentioned, and I think they're buys now.”at 24:14
